Huntington, WV is a city located in the southwestern part of the state, near the Ohio River. The city is best known as the home of Marshall University, a public research university that has a strong emphasis on science, engineering, and technology. Huntington is also known for its rich musical heritage, particularly in the genres of country, blues, and rock and roll. In fact, the city is home to the Huntington Music and Arts Festival, which features local and national artists in a celebration of music and art. Additionally, Huntington has a number of recreational opportunities, including hiking, boating, and fishing, thanks to its location near the Ohio River and the nearby mountains.
On Wednesday, April 5th the city was host the Business Continuity in an Unpredictable World lunch and learn featuring Sonicwall. Specifically we were at Sip Downtown Brasserie. Through the training, we covered some of the best tools in the IT industry to prevent and detect malicious attacks, and prepare backup plans to keep a business operational in case of system failure.
