On Saturday Sept 29th, Advantage Technology participated in the American Heart Association’s Charleston Heart walk! Following the walk, we enjoyed a barbecue and watched the WVU game.
The Heart Walk began at the Capitol Complex. From there, participants walked down Kanawha Boulevard to the turnaround right in front of our office building at 950 Kanawha Blvd. We had a live band, The Harper Project, balloons, selfie frames and a small gift for all participants!
It was incredibly fun, and we heard great stories from other walkers about how much they enjoyed the turnaround. Sarah Bolyard, WV Executive Director of the American Heart Association, said, “WOW is all we can say and all we kept hearing from walkers at the finish line. You all are AMAZING and we cannot begin to thank you enough for creating such an amazing experience and memory for our walkers at the turnaround. It was truly a party and something that our walkers won’t forget.” It was a thrill to hear reports like that!
And best of all, Team Advantage Technology raised over $1,800 for the American Heart Association!
